How to Recover a Document From a Terminal Server

Terminal Services is the old name for the Windows Remote Desktop application. Copying files from the Remote Desktop session to your local hard drive is turned off by default. This means you are unable to recover a file from your Terminal Services machine. You turn on file sharing by enabling disk sharing before connecting to the remote computer. This lets you copy the file from the terminal window to your desktop, so you can recover and save your documents.
