How to Recycle Aluminum in Austin, Texas

Aluminum is one of the most commonly recycled metals. It's easy to melt down and reuse, and educational campaigns have effectively taught people to recycle their aluminum cans. Other aluminum products, including foil, are also recyclable, although not all Austin recycling programs pick up larger metal objects in curbside programs. Recycling aluminum helps keep Austin landfills cleaner and also cuts down on the cost of mining and processing new metal.
