Click "Start," then "All Programs" and select "Accessories" from the list.

Click "System Tools" under "Accessories," then "Disk Cleanup." The "Disk Cleanup" dialog window will open. Select the hard drive with the driver cache files in the "Disk Cleanup: Drive Selection" dialog box if it appears, then click "OK."

Click the "Disk Cleanup" tab, then click the check box next "Temporary Files." Click "OK," then "Delete files." The system will remove the driver cache files.

How to Remove the Driver Cache
Device driver files are often added to the temporary folder during the installation process for a device. These files are called the Driver Cache, and are no longer used by the system. Use the Disk Cleanup utility in Windows to remove these files from your system.
