How to Remove DriverScanner From Event Viewer

Event Viewer is a native Windows utility that monitors and keeps track of the operation of certain programs and processes on a computer. If you've added a custom log for the program DriverScanner into the Windows Event Viewer, it is important to know that this addition does not have to be permanent. You can remove DriverScanner from the Event Viewer at any time using the main program interface on the computer.

  Click "Start."

  Click "Control Panel."

  Click "Administrative Tools."

  Click "Event Viewer."

  Click "Custom Views." This will reveal the DriverScanner log (among others) that is set up in your copy of the Event Viewer. Right-click on the DriverScanner log and click "Delete" to remove it from the Event Viewer interface.
