How to Remove Epilation Wax From Legs

Epilation is a process of hair removal whereby hair is removed from below the skin's surface at its root. This can be accomplished using a variety of methods including sugaring, waxing, epilating shavers, electrolysis and tweezing. Epilation by waxing produces smooth, hair-free legs that last for 2 to 6 weeks. During the waxing process, you may have residual wax left on your legs. This can easily be removed using everyday products.
    • 1

Soak the cotton cloth in baby oil until saturated.

    • 2

Press the oiled cloth onto the waxy areas on your leg.

    • 3

Hold the cloth in place for 3 to 5 minutes. The oil will slowly dissolve the wax and cause it to lift from the skin.

    • 4

Rub the wax gently using your cloth. Gently rub back and forth until the wax disappears.

    • 5

Dab the excess oil from your skin using a clean cotton cloth.
