How to Remove the Front Panel of a GE Profile Washing Machine

The GE Profile washing machine comes in a number of different models and styles that can fit in with just about any laundry or utility room. A washer tub inside the machine spins clothes in a mixture of soap and water. This dirty water is then pumped out of the washer and into your home's sewer system. Occasionally, you'll need to access this washer tub or other parts inside the machine. In that case, you'll first need to remove the front panel of your GE Profile washing machine.

Insert a putty knife in between the top of the cabinet and the front panel. With your knife, locate the right side clip, which is positioned about 3 inches from the right-hand side of the GE Profile washing machine. Press the putty knife against the clip and gently lift up on the top of the cabinet until you feel it release from the clip.
