How to Remove Smart UPS 2200

A UPS is a back-up power source for electronic devices. The APC Smart UPS 2200 is a large UPS that you primarily use for servers that host websites that you need up and running at all times. The APC Smart UPS 2200 comes with software that installs on your computer and monitors the power state, battery level and voltage of the UPS. If you are not using a Smart UPS, you can uninstall the software and put less of a burden on your computer.

  Disconnect the Smart UPS 2200 from the power source and from your computer.

  Click the "Start" button. Select "Control Panel."

  Click "Programs" and select "Uninstall a program," which is located below the "Programs and Features" option.

  Click on the APC Smart UPS software to select it and click the "Uninstall" button above the list of programs.

  Close the "Control Panel" and restart your computer.
