How to Remove Spam From Emails in Kaspersky

In today's modern email world it is too easy to get listed in a spammer's database. Email addresses are bought, sold and stolen by the millions every day, and once yours is in the mix, the unwanted email spam can be hard or impossible to stop. The best alternative to giving up your email altogether is to have a program remove spam emails from your incoming mail. Kaspersky offers a solution for just that purpose, integrating with popular email programs as a plug-in or extension.

Close your email program. If you use Microsoft Outlook, you may want to reboot the system to make certain that it is closed.

    • 2

Install the Kaspersky Internet Security suite. Make sure to include the Anti-Spam component if you opt to use the custom advanced installation method.

    • 3

      Reboot the system as directed.

    • 4

Check your email program to verify that the Kapersky Anti-Spam plug-in is successfully installed, and manually install the Kaspersky spam plug-in if necessary. Each email program has its own unique way of manually installing plug-ins. Outlook uses the "Tools" > "Trust Center" > "Add-ons" menu, while Mozilla Thunderbird uses the "Tools" > "Add-ons" menu for access to the active installed plug-ins. The Anti-Spam function happens automatically once the Kaspersky security suite software is installed and the email client plug-in is active.
