Shave thin, 1/2-inch pieces from an extra piece of linoleum, using a sharp utility knife. Cut the linoleum until you have enough to cover the scratch. Place the shavings on an old piece of cardboard.

Mix the linoleum shavings with a drop of wood glue. Scoop the shavings onto a putty knife and wipe into the scratch. Press the shavings into the scratch mark with the end of the putty knife.

Wipe excess shavings and glue from around the scratch with a damp rag. Allow the glue and shavings to bond into the linoleum. Avoid walking on or cleaning the area for 24 to 48 hours.
