How to Replace the Cabin Filter in a 2005 Honda Pilot

The 2005 Honda Pilot is equipped with a cabin air filter that traps dust, particles, pollen and allergens to keep them from getting inside the vehicle. Honda recommends replacing the filter every year, or after every 10,000 miles. The filter should be checked more frequently when the Pilot is driven on dusty roads or in areas with heavy air pollution. A clean cabin air filter improves air circulation within the air conditioning system, putting less stress on the fan motors.
