How to Reseal Granite Countertops in Portland, Oregon

Sealing granite countertops helps guard against stains. The seal holds off stains only for a while, though, so clean spills as quickly as possible. Before applying a seal to your granite countertops, test the surface and confirm it is needed. To do this, simply put drops of water on various areas on the granite countertops and wipe away immediately. If the drops turn the granite darker, the stone absorbs water quickly and requires sealing.
