How to Reset Kenmore Elite Washer Settings

Kenmore Elite washers include a number of settings which can help wash your clothes more efficiently. Some of these features include an automatic temperature control, a delayed start and an auto water level function. Unlike some washers, Kenmore Elite washers do not include a "Reset" button on the front panel. However, this does not mean that you cannot reset the washer settings. Resetting the Kenmore washer settings does not take any considerable expertise, however it is slightly more involved than simply pressing a single button.

  Press "Stop" two times.

  Push "Power."

  Select the button for the desired wash cycle.

  Press the appropriate "Modifiers" and "Options" buttons to adjust the settings.
