How to Reset the "Service Now" Light on a VW Jetta SportWagen

Most Volkswagen Jetta Sportwagen models are equipped with a service-reminder system that illuminates a message on the dashboard when service is needed. After the scheduled service has been performed, the service reminder must be reset in order for the computer to keep track of when the next service is due. Volkswagen dealers will reset the reminder if they perform the service. Otherwise, reset it with a few simple steps.
