Connect the USB receiver that comes with your PC remote into an available USB port on your PC. This should activate your PC's "Add Hardware Wizard."

Select the "Next" button on your computer's "Add Hardware Wizard." The drivers for the remote should automatically install onto your PC.

How to Set up a Remote for a PC
While remote controls are generally meant to be used with televisions, DVD players and VCRs, there are a number of remotes available that work with personal computers as well. Through the use of a receiver that plugs directly into the USB port of a PC, these remotes can be easily set up and activated in a few steps.
