How to Transfer CD Applications to an iTouch
The iTunes App Store is the main distribution method of applications for the iTunes operating system (iOS) platform, which includes the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad. Because developers need to test applications before submitting them to the store, there is another method of smaller scale distribution known as ad-hoc. This allows for the distribution of beta applications as well as private applications, not meant for resale or public consumption. The application files must be sent to the users, which can be done digitally or physically. If you have a computer disc containing iOS applications to transfer to an iPod Touch, the process is fairly simple.
