How to Transfer Data From One HDD to Another

  Insert a recordable disc into your computer's disc drive. Any disc labeled CD-R or DVD-R will work. Wait until the computer recognizes the disc.

  Open the hard drive from your computer's desktop and locate any files you wish to transfer. Drag and drop the files to the disc. Wait for the status bar to inform you when the files have finished copying to disc.

  Eject the disc from the computer and insert it into the drive of the computer containing the HDD you wish to transfer the data to.
