Check the power supply on the docking station. When the docking station is turned on, you will see a green indicator light. If that light is not on, try removing the power cord from the back and plugging it back in. Also try plugging the docking station in to another power outlet or USB. If there is still no response, the power pack on the docking station will need to be replaced.

Remove all the peripherals from the back of the docking station, then insert your laptop and power the docking station back on. Reattach each peripheral one at a time until you re-create the problem. A bad driver or a malfunctioning device can cause the entire docking station to stop working. Once the problem device is identified, you can download a new driver, or replace the device.

Disconnect your external monitor and examine the connection closely. A bent pin can cause intermittent display problems on a Logitech docking station. Carefully bend the problem pin back into place by inserting a small flat-head screwdriver between the bad pin and the one next to it. Then reattach the monitor and wait for the laptop display to come on.

Remove the external keyboard and mouse from the Logitech docking station and plug them directly into the laptop, or another PC. Replace the keyboard and mouse if they are not working properly, otherwise reattach them to the docking station and make sure they are firmly seated in the slots.

How to Troubleshoot a Logitech Docking Station
A Logitech docking station allows you to transform your laptop computer into a fully functional desktop, complete with peripherals like a printer, scanner, camera dock and other pluggable devices. Once the Logitech docking station is in place and properly set up, all you need to do is slide your laptop on to the connector, and you instantly have access to all the peripherals attached to the dock. But even though the docking station is easy to use, it is still a good idea to have some basic troubleshooting skills.
