How to Troubleshoot a Uniblue Registry Cleaner

Uniblue is a software company that makes various programs designed to optimize your computer performance. The Uniblue registry cleaner, called RegistryBooster, is designed to clean your system registry. Cleaning your system registry will speed up your computer, decrease computer freezes and crashes and get rid of any malicious registry entries. If you are experiencing problems running RegistryBooster, there are troubleshooting steps to try, including a clean reinstallation. Note that the steps described apply to the Windows Vista and 7 operating systems.
  • Initial Troubleshooting Steps

      Download the product manual. To do this, navigate to the Uniblue homepage (see Resources), click "Product Manuals," and then click "Download" under "RegistryBooster." The user manual contains information that may help solve the problem you are experiencing.

      Navigate to the Uniblue homepage (See Resources) and click "RegistryBooster" under "Frequently Asked Questions." This section contains answers to many common problems, including RegistryBooster failing to start after LiveUpdate, Hosts Files errors, and failure to clean identified errors.

      Navigate to the the Uniblue homepage (see Resources) and click "Submit a Ticket with your Query" at the bottom of the page. Fill out the contact information and describe the trouble you are experiencing in "Message" section. Uniblue will get back to you using the contact information you supplied.

    Perform Clean Reinstallation

      Close the RegistryBooster program.

      Click "Start," "Control Panel," and "Uninstall a Program."

      Click "Start," type "%appdata%" into the "Search" box, and press "Enter." Double-click on the "Uniblue" folder that appears, and then right-click the "RegistryBooster" folder and select "Delete."

      Click "Start," type "C:\Program Files\Uniblue" into the "Search" box, and press "Enter." Right-click the "RegistryBooster" folder and select "Delete."

      Reinstall RegistryBooster.
