How to Uninstall Win2000 Pro

The Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional operating system is no longer actively supported by Microsoft Mainstream Support so feature updates for the system are no longer available. Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional consumes a large amount of hard drive space (over 800 MB in most cases). The Windows 2000 Professional boot loader may also conflict with newer operating systems in dual boot configurations. Remove a Windows 2000 Professional to reclaim hard drive space and avoid potential software conflicts and security issues.
