How to Unlock WordPerfect on a Cell

Most cell phones are GSM phones that you can use on any network. If you received your cell phone through the mail or as a special offer, then it must have a lock on it. This lock prevents you from accessing the service provider's network and from using your phone's features, including WordPerfect. Some third-party websites, forums and software claim to unlock your phone, but with high fees and illegal motives. The best way to unlock your phone is through your cell phone provider. By using your phone's International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) number, they will provide you with an unlock code.

  Enter *#06# into your phone's keypad. This gives you the 15-digit IMEI number. Write it down and keep it in a safe place.

  Contact your cell phone provider. Tell them that you need an unlock code for your cell phone. Provide your cell phone's IMEI number, your cell phone number, the model number and manufacturer.

  Confirm your account information. Provide your full name, street address and the last four digits of your Social Security number.

  Follow the instructions that the representative gives you for unlocking your phone. Enter the unlock code into your phone's keypad, when prompted. Press the "OK" button. Your phone will now access your cell phone provider's network.
