How to Update to 4.0 on a Jailbroken iPhone

Jailbroken iPhones give users access to many features and applications that were previously unavailable. This includes the third party non-Apple application stores Cydia and Installous, as well as multitasking abilities and more. Users with a jailbroken iPhone looking to upgrade to the latest release of Apple's iPhone mobile operating system, iOS 4, can do so. All jailbreak data and applications will be deleted, however, anything from the Apple Store will remain. Users must then re-jailbreak the phone in iOS 4.
