How to Use an Emjoi

Emjoi is an epilator that removes the hair from the root. This could leave your skin hairless for four to six weeks. You can use the Emjoi to remove hair from your face, legs, bikini line and underarms. The first time may be uncomfortable when using your epilator. You should take a few precautions, however, before attempting to use it. Exfoliating in the shower or bath may help to reduce the pain.

  Clean and dry your skin before using your Emjoi. Ensure that it is free of creams and oils.

  Remove the cap on your Emjoi. Turn it on to the desired speed. It may have a low speed for fine hair, and a high speed for coarse hair.

  Hold the skin taut with your free hand. Position your Emjoi so it is vertical against your skin, at a 90-degree angle. The tweezers should be upright and the Emjoi logo should be facing away from you.

  Glide the Emjoi in quick, sweeping motions against your skin. Do not apply pressure. Slow down your motions if you find it painful for the first time.
