List the year, make, model, vehicle identification number and the current mileage. Any Word program can be used to create the appraisal, and it should be printed on your business letterhead so your contact information will be clearly visible.

List the total appraised dollar amount in the next paragraph.

Add the subheading Body Condition for the next paragraph. Under this heading indicate the condition of the exterior body panels. Are they in perfect alignment and installed properly? Note if the panels are factory originals or if they have been replaced.

Type "Paint Condition" for the next subheading. List the condition of the paint and whether it is original or repainted under this heading. For the next paragraph titled Chrome and Glass Condition list the condition of the chrome on the car such as the bumper, grille and side. Is it original or replaced? Note whether there are any scratches or chips in any of the glass on the vehicle.

Write "Wheel and Tire Condition" for the next subheading. Indicate the condition of the wheels and tires. Include any special options such as fancy hub caps or expensive tires.

List the type of seats in the vehicle and the condition of the seats and upholstery in the next subheading, which is Interior Condition. Are they leather or vinyl? Has the dashboard been recovered, or is it original? Note the condition of the floorboards and any other part of the interior such as the light covers.

Type the next subheading, which is Mechanical and Exhaust Condition. List the condition of the transmission, axles and exhaust system. Include the frame and chassis in this section. If needed, add another section titled Special Options. Indicate if there are any factory original options that were not on all the vehicles that were produced in that year.
