The HP 7000 is a wide-format printer produced by Hewlett Packard as part of its Officejet range. The Officejet printers are more expensive and higher-performing than their Deskjet series. This printer is at the high-end of the Officejet printer range (although there are also multipurpose, or all-in-one, printer/copier/fax devices).
Dimensions
-
The HP 7000 weighs 15.4 pounds. The printer measures 22.6 inches wide, 15.8 inches deep, and 7.1 inches tall. This makes it small and light for an office printer.
Connections
-
The HP 7000 has standard connectivity for an Officejet product. This includes a high-speed USB 2.0 port for connecting to a computer, and an Ethernet port for connecting to an office network.
Print Speed and Quality
-
The HP 7000 supports printing up to a maximum density of 4800 by 1200 dpi (dots per inch), which is very high. The 7000 allows you to select various print qualities, including black and white speed printing. In black-and-white speed mode, the 7000 can print 33 ppm (pages per minute). In the highest-quality mode, using full color printing, it can print 7 ppm.
Paper Handling
-
The 7000 can print on a large range of paper sizes, including A3+, A3, A4, A5, A6, B4, B5, B6, and B7. It can use brochure, inkjet, plain, or photo paper, as well as envelopes, cards, and transparencies. The input tray can hold up to 150 sheets of paper and the output tray can hold 100.
