The HP W2207H is a TFT LCD monitor that is manufactured and sold by HP. TFT, or thin film transistor, is a certain kind of LCD monitor where a thin semiconductor film is applied to a piece of glass over the liquid crystal material. This thin membrane allows the monitor to control individual pixels for greater contrast, refresh rate and pixel response times.

The W2207H measures 18.9 inches high, 20.6 inches wide and 11.4 inches deep, when it is connected to the base. It weighs in at 19.8 pounds. The screen can operate between 41 degrees Fahrenheit and 95 degrees Fahrenheit and at a humidity between 20 and 80 percent. The monitor can be stored between -4 degrees Fahrenheit and 140 degrees Fahrenheit and at a humidity between 5 and 95 percent.

The W2207H display is 22 inches, when measured diagonally. The maximum resolution is 1680-by-1050 at 60 Hz and the maximum scanning frequencies are 76 Hz for the vertical and 82 KHz for the horizontal. The pixels on the W2207H have a pitch of 0.252 millimeters and a 5 millisecond response time. The screen has a 2000:1 contrast ratio.

On the right side of the W2207H's rear panel, you will find a VGA 15-pin D-type connector and a DVI-D connector. There is also an audio input port, so you can use the monitor's speakers, and a USB hub port, so that you can enable the two USB ports on the left side of the monitor. All of the cables can be run through a slot on the stand to keep them organized.
Controls and Power

There are five buttons on the left side of the face of W2207H: the "Menu" button, the "Contrast" button, the "Brightness" button and the two volume buttons. The internal power supply requires an AC 120/230 V socket. The monitor consumes 65 Watts while in operation and 2 Watts while it is in standby.
