Launch Outlook 2002.

Click the "Contacts" folder.

Click any contact in your "Contacts" folder.

Click the "Details" tab.

Type your directory server address under "Directory server" and the contact's email alias under "E-mail alias." Contact your system administrator or IT help desk if you are unsure about either of these fields.

Click "Actions" and select "Call Using NetMeeting." You will not see any error.

An Internal Error Occurred in the Automatic Phone Dialer in Outlook 2002
Outlook 2002 is an email client developed by Microsoft. One of the issues that you may experience with Outlook 2002 involves its "Call Contact" feature. When you click "Call Contact" under "Actions," you may receive the following error message: "An internal error occurred in the automatic phone dialer. Close the phone dial dialog box, and then open it again." You can fix this problem by specifying "Call Using NetMeeting."
