Motor Home Parks in Florida

    • Florida is the southernmost U.S. state and has a warm climate throughout the year which draws travelers to its beaches. Extended-stay travelers in Florida can pay weekly or monthly rates for a mobile home.     Lecanto Hills

    • Lecanto Hills Mobile and RV Park is in Florida's Nature Coast region, less than 30 minutes from the Gulf of Mexico. This park features walking and bicycling trails that wind through cypress and Spanish trees. Park amenities include a clubhouse that has a fully furnished kitchen, shower facilities, picnic pavilion and shuffleboard courts.

      Each campsite has water, electric, gas and cable television hook-ups. Nightly and weekly rates are available. Pets may stay at this park. Crystal River Park is less than 30 minutes from the mobile home park and features a hiking trail, canoeing rentals and opportunities to see manatees.

    St Petersburg

    • Situated in St. Petersburg, Robert's Mobile Home and RV Resort is less than five minutes from Sawgrass Lake Park, a 400-acre urban recreation area with a sheltered picnicking area, walking paths and opportunities for bird watching. The Gulf of Mexico, with beaches and swimming activities, is less than 30 minutes from the mobile home park. This park features an outdoor swimming pool and whirlpool tub, miniature golf course and sand volleyball court. Daily, monthly and yearly rentals are available. Each mobile home site has water, sewer, electricity and garbage services.

    Cape Coral

    • The McGregor RV and Mobile Home Park is in southwestern Florida's Cape Coral, less than 20 minutes north of the Estero Bay State Park. This state park offers fishing and kayaking in the Estero River and is home of the Koreshan Historic Site, which features late 19th century buildings. Guided tours are available.

      Beaches in Sanibel Island and Fort Meyers Beach are less than 15 minutes away. The mobile home park offers weekly and monthly rates for two-bedroom units. Pets may stay for an additional fee but none can weigh more than 25 lbs. The park features private boating docks and fishing piers and RV campsites are available with water and electric hook-ups.

    Kelly's RV Park

    • The 20-acre Kelly's RV Park is in northern Florida, approximately an hour west of Jacksonville and less than five miles from Interstate 10. The 20 mobile homes have nightly, weekly and monthly rates. Park amenities include paved roads, propane station, shower facilities, hiking trails on the property and complimentary access to Wi-Fi Internet. Park visitors can see the endangered gopher tortoises on the property.

      The mobile home park's clubhouse has a fully furnished kitchen, game room and lounge area. Pets may stay for an additional fee. Kelly's is less than 20 minutes from Osceola National Forest. This 200,000-acre park was the site of the Battle of Olustee, a Civil War skirmish. Hiking opportunities are available on the Olustee Battlefield Trail.
