- 1
Locate each O2 sensor in the driver's side and passenger's side exhaust manifold. Use the replacement NKT O2 sensor as a visual aid.
- 2
Follow the white wires that extend out of the top of the O2 sensors to the wiring harnesses to which they connect. Disconnect the wires from the wiring harnesses on both O2 sensors.
- 3
Turn the O2 sensors counterclockwise using an open-ended wrench until the sensors come out of the exhaust manifolds.
- 4
Place a small amount of anti-seizing compound on the threads of the new O2 sensors.
- 5
Thread the sensors into the exhaust manifold and then tighten them with the open-ended wrench.
- 6
Reconnect the wires to the wiring harnesses.
- 7
Locate the lower O2 sensors on the down tube that extends out of the exhaust manifolds. The sensors are on the pipes between the exhaust manifolds and the catalytic converters. Complete steps 1 through 6 with these two O2 sensors.

Ntk Universal O2 Sensor Installation Instructions
Chances are, your automobile already has an NKT O2 sensor in it. Actually, it most likely has four of them. Most automobiles have one in each exhaust manifold and one in each down pipe, right in front of the catalytic converter. NKT is the leading manufacturer of O2 sensors and because of this, its O2 sensors are universal. This means that the sensors fits on almost all vehicles.
