Gift giving for your best friend may seem like an easy process, but particularly when you have numerous options, it can be hard to choose the perfect present. The ideal gift can range from clothing or accessories to services you know she'd enjoy. Consider buying your best friend things she enjoys, but can rarely take advantage of or things she likely would not purchase herself.
Memory Book or Photo Album
-
If you are strapped for cash, but want to give your best friend something meaningful that she can cherish, make her a keepsake book. Get a blank photo album or scrapbook and fill it with photos that span memories of the two of you. If you have access to them, you can even include photos of other people in her life. If you are making a scrapbook, add trinkets and keepsakes, such as movie tickets from a scary movie you saw together or ticket stubs from a trip you took. The more creative you can be, the better the gift.
Game or Concert Tickets
-
If your best friend is a sport fanatic or a music lover, get him tickets to the next concert or big game in your town. Get two tickets so he doesn't have to go alone. To enhance the experience, put together a pre-event package of a gift certificate for dinner and dessert, a trip to the local watering hole and a night's stay at a local swanky hotel property. If you really want to up the ante, book a limousine to cart him around on his special night.
Services Basket
-
Give your BFF something she can really enjoy in the form of a gift basket for a spa day. In addition to the gift certificate to the local spa, you can include a pair of paraffin gloves for home use, a plush bathrobe, an eye mask and various skin care and pampering products. Or, if your BFF is a guy, you might make him a basket of car services, where you can include an oil change gift certificate, a small car tool set, a new air freshener and a gift certificate to get his car washed and detailed.
