Places to Meet Girls in NYC

  • Central Park

    • Located in the center of Manhattan, Central Park is an excellent place for singles to gather, especially in the spring and summer months. The 843-acre park is home to numerous well-known New York City landmarks such as the Central Park Zoo, the Conservatory Garden, John Lennon's Strawberry Fields and open areas like Sheep's Meadow. A 15-acre preserve on the west side of the park, Sheep's Meadow is the largest open meadow in Central Park and a favorite spot for picnickers, kite flyers and sunbathers. Sheep's Meadow also offers an amazing view of the New York City skyline, drawing upwards of 30,000 people per day.

    Museums

    • New York City is home to literally hundreds of historical, cultural and artistic institutions and museums. Some of the greatest museums in the world are located in New York City, such as the Guggenheim Museum, the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the American Museum of Natural History. A favorite place for students and artists, the Museum of Modern Art is perfect for meeting women of all ages from the challenging and intellectual, to the average tourist taking in the sights of the city. Finding someone with like interests is virtually guaranteed due to the large number of museums located throughout the city, from the Museum of Jewish Heritage in lower Manhattan, to the Museum of Comic and Cartoon Art on Broadway.

    Greenwich Village

    • The gathering place for artists and eccentrics as well as NYU students, Greenwich Village is not only the perfect place to meet single women in New York City, but also a wonderful place for first dates. Washington Square park is one of New York City's best known parks and lies at the heart of Greenwich Village. The nine-acre park is home to the historic and iconic Washington Square Arch and is a great place to meet students of NYU, as most of the buildings around the park are owned by the school for academic and residential use. The Village is also a great place for dates, with streets such as MacDougal Street, known for its bars, hookah lounges, boutiques and outdoor cafes.
