Romantic Birthday Ideas for the Wife

  • Romantic Evening

    • If your wife enjoys bubble baths and chocolate-dipped fruits, try this romantic evening. Spread rose petals from your bedroom door to the bathtub. Have the bathtub filled with warm water, bubble bath, rose petals and maybe even a glass of Champagne. While she enjoys a nice long bath, scatter more rose petals to form a path to the bed. Spread rose petals all over the bed and carry in a tray of chocolate-dipped fruits to feed your wife. For extra romance, write her a poem, and read it to her while she is sipping on wine and eating her fruit. Dim the lights and burn candles in the bedroom.

    Gift Hunt

    • Hide all your wife's birthday gifts around the house and create a gift hunt for her to find them. Write down clues on a sheet of paper as to where each one of her gifts is hidden. She will have to figure out where her birthday gifts are by reading your clues. Hide a gift in the bathtub, and use a clue like "Somewhere you go to relax in warm water." Wrap the gifts so there is still suspense even after she finds each gift.

    Picnic

    • Find a quiet park and take your wife to enjoy a picnic. Pack a picnic basket with a bottle of wine, wine glasses, sandwiches, fruit and small snacks. Spread out a large blanket. Write your wife a letter about memories of you and her since you have been together. Make a small sign that says, "Lover's Lane," and put it up by the picnic basket. Take along a CD player and play romantic songs or songs from your wedding day.

    Cabin Getaway

    • Plan a romantic weekend getaway to a cabin. Check around your local area for cabins that you can rent for the weekend. Many of these offer romantic packages that include heart-shaped Jacuzzi tubs, bottles of bubbly, flowers, chocolates and fruit baskets. Some of the cabins are located near mountains, where the atmosphere is quiet, relaxed and offers beautiful scenery.
