Sea Breeze Astringent Uses

  • Treat bug bites

    • Bug bites get itchy, inflamed and possibly infected if scratched too much and cleaned too little. Dab a bit of Sea Breeze on mosquito bites to clean the area and add a cooling sensation to the itchy bite. Sea Breeze may also take the sting out of spider bites, which can be painful and swell. If a bee stings you, try dabbing a cotton ball soaked in Sea Breeze on the wound to relieve pain and clean the wound (after removing the stinger).

    Heat Remedy

    • When the temperatures rise in blazing summer heat, the cooling effects of Sea Breeze astringent can bring some relief. Fill a bowl with ice water and add some Sea Breeze astringent. Soak a hand towel in the mixture. Wring out excess water and drape the towel around your neck or feet and enjoy the cooling effects.

    Treat Rashes

    • Sea Breeze astringent brings cooling comfort to rashes caused by sunburn. Dabbing sunburned skin with cotton balls soaked in Sea Breeze can take the heat out of the rash and bring immediate comfort. Sea Breeze may also take the itch out of rashes caused by poison ivy or poison oak.

    Before Waxing

    • Apply Sea Breeze or another astringent to the skin before waxing. This removes excess oil and helps prevent the wax from sticking to the skin.

    Dandruff

    • You can use Sea Breeze to fight dandruff. Massage Sea Breeze into scalp before shampooing, then shampoo as usual. The Sea Breeze should lift the dry, flaky particles that cause dandruff.

    After Shave

    • You can apply Sea Breeze directly to the face after shaving for an invigorating, cool sensation. Use it to clean any small cuts that occur during shaving as well.

    Minor Cuts

    • If you don't have another antibiotic salve available, you can use Sea Breeze to clean minor cuts of bacteria.
