Seafood Restaurants Near Okemah, OK

    • Approximately 65 miles south of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and 70 miles east of Oklahoma City, is the town of Okemah. With a population of just over 3,000 people in 2.7 square miles, it's no surprise that Okemah proper offers a just a handful of restaurants, with just one specializing in seafood. For those who want to try out other seafood venues nearby, you'll find additional seafood options in the communities that surround Okemah.

    Catfish Roundup

    • About 25 minutes from Okemah in nearby Seminole is the Catfish Roundup restaurant. The restaurant offers all-you-can-eat catfish meals in the evenings in a casual dining atmosphere. The meals includes unlimited country fried potatoes, beans and cole slaw. The Roundup also offers fried shrimp, grilled shrimp, tilapia, calamari, scallops and much more, although not in unlimited quantities for a flat price like the catfish. This restaurant is open seven days per week. Alcoholic beverages are not included on the Catfish Roundup menu.

    Brick Street Cafe

    • The Brick Street Cafe originally opened in 1996 in the century-plus old building known as the "Finks Building." It is located in the heart of downtown Okemah, surrounded by other historic old buildings. The Brick Street Cafe has a casual decor and offers a casual dining experience. The restaurant offers a variety of dishes and specializes in fried catfish. Each night the Brick Street Cafe serves an all-you-can-eat catfish meal for a flat price. The meal includes unlimited servings of fried catfish, coleslaw, cornbread and home-made French fries. Other seafood dishes on the menu are not served on an all-you-can-eat basis, and these include a variety of fried and grilled shrimp. Chicken, pork and beef are all available as well.

    Huckleberry's Pig Out Palace

    • Huckleberry's Pig Out Palace is located about 20 miles east of Okemah, in neighboring Henryetta, Oklahoma. It is easily recognizable by its signature tin drum pigs and swing set sitting just out front. This restaurants not only serves seafood and other main dishes, but also has a gift shop to rummage through before or after dining. The menu features fried catfish, grilled catfish, fried butterfly shrimp, popcorn shrimp and grilled shrimp. In addition to the seafood, a large "all you can eat" food bar is available that includes several pre-made salads, coleslaw, cucumber salad, onion salad, potato salad, salsa, corn, green beans, mashed potatoes, chicken and more.
