SQL 2008 Certification

There is a wide range of official certifications available for Microsoft SQL Server 2008. Studying for and passing various examinations allows you to gain a range of recognized technical qualifications.

Levels

• SQL Server qualifications are available at a range of levels. A Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) accreditation is gained by passing a single exam in a specific area of the technology. Experts wishing to demonstrate expert knowledge in all areas of the technology, including database development and system administration, can work towards the advanced MCM (Microsoft Certified Master) accreditation.

Training

• Training centers have a range of official courses available, specifically designed to assist you in passing the exams. It is also possible to purchase books and learn the required course material at home.

Exams

• Exams are taken at official centers under controlled conditions. The Microsoft Certified Master program also requires experts to undertake supervised lab training using SQL 2008.
