Torque Specifications for a 2000 Chevy K2500

    • The K2500 also offers a 6.5-liter, V8 engine capable of 195 horsepower at 3,400 rpm and 430 pound-feet of torque at 1,800 rpm. It has 6,501cc of displacement, a bore of 4.06 inches, a stroke of 3.82 inches and a 20.2:1 compression ratio.

    7.4-Liter V8

    • The largest K2500 engine available in the 2000 model is the 7.4-liter, V8 engine. It offers 290 horsepower at 4,400 rpm, torque of 410 pound-feet at 3,200 rpm, displacement of 7,440cc, a 4.25-inch bore, a 4.00-inch stroke and a compression ratio of 8.9:1.
