Winter Boot Trends

  • The Cowgirl Boot is Back

    • Per Elle Magazine contributing writer Kate Lanphear, the 1980s cowgirl boot is back in fashion. Their versatility allows them to be worn over a pair of skinny jeans or with a frilly skirt, reminiscent of the 1980s. They are timeless and fun, so kick up those heels and make a fashion statement at the same time.

    Knee-high Boots with Flat Heals

    • Reminiscent of the 1960s is the knee-high, flat-heeled boot. Worn over a pair of winter tights or with a wrap-around skirt, you are warm, fashionable and able to hold steady on the treacherous ground. This trend in winter footwear comes in various styles, from the classic English riding boot to the more decorative fringed boot.

    Ankle Boots with Crepe Soles

    • Susan Cernack, contributing writer for Glamour Magazine, puts it best: "...a pair of boots that can deal with slippery surfaces but still look stylish." She is referring to the crepe-outsoled, low-heeled, over-the-ankle boot, which is snug about your leg enough to keep the snow out and the warmth in. Worn with a pair of jeans or ski leggings, they allow you the freedom to play as a child in the snow and keep your sense of fashion.
