The 2007 Ford F-150, a half-ton pickup truck, was part of the 11th production cycle (2004 to 2008) of Ford's popular F-Series. One option came with the STX SuperCab---a combination of the STX trim (right above the base XL) and an extended cab size. With a choice of a four-wheel drive (4WD), the STX came in three versions: one with a short box (Short Box), one with a regular-size box (Regular Box) and a version with side panels attached to its bed (Flareside).

The 2007 Ford F-150 STX SuperCab 4WD has a 4.6-liter V-8 engine. Of a 16-valve single overhead camshaft (SOHC) configuration, the engine produces 231 horsepower at 4,750 revolutions per minute (rpm) and 293 foot-lbs. of torque at 4,000 rpm. It also has a 4,606-cubic centimeter (cc) displacement, a 3.55-inch bore (cylinder diameter), a 3.54-inch stroke (piston traveling distance) and a 9.4-to-1 compression ratio.

The STX SuperCab 4WD versions of the 2007 Ford F-150 possess a standard four-speed automatic transmission with no optional gearboxes. The Short Box came with a 26-gallon gas tank, and the Regular Box and Flareside both came with a 27-gallon gas tank. The truck has a fuel economy of about 15 miles per gallon (mpg) for city driving and 19 mpg for highway driving. The Short Box has a maximum towing capacity of 6,000 lbs., and the Regular Box and Flareside have a towing capacity of 6,100 lbs.

With standard seating for six people, the 2007 Ford F-150 STX SuperCab 4WD has front space that includes about 41 inches of headroom and legroom, 67 inches of shoulder room and 66 inches of hip room. Rear space includes about 40 inches of headroom, 32 inches of legroom and 67 inches of shoulder room.
In terms of exterior dimensions, the three versions of the '07 F-150 STX SuperCab 4WD share the same 78.9-inch width and 75.6-inch height. However, they differ in length: the Short Box measures 217.8 inches long, the Regular Box measures 229.8 inches and the Flareside measures 230 inches. They also differ in curb weight: the Short Box weighs 5,330 lbs., the Regular Box weighs 420 lbs. and the Flareside weighs 5,440 lbs.
