Lodgepole is a small town in Cheyenne County, Nebraska, in the southwestern part of the state. As of 2009, the town had about 350 residents. The Linger Longer Lounge was the only bar in town but has permanently closed down. Towns in the surrounding area have bars where residents and tourists can drink.

Customers have the opportunity to play pool, darts and foosball. The bar offers a casual environment for patrons and has numerous televisions where they can watch sporting events.

While the bar is on the smaller side, it is often filled with locals who are welcoming to out-of-towners. Stewie's opened in October 2007 and is located in Sidney, Nebraska. The bar is open Monday to Friday from 2 p.m. to 1 a.m. and Saturdays from noon to 1 a.m. In addition to serving food and drinks, the bar also features pool tables, dartboards and a foosball table. Customers can also listen to their favorite songs on the Internet-connected jukebox at the bar. Entrees at the bar cost less then $10, as of 2010, and live bands also play on special occasions throughout the year.
