Business Rules Management Tools

    • FICO business rules-management systems are developed with countless tools to optimize supervisory functions. According to the FICO website, these tools generate large amounts of data at high speeds, and user-friendly programming eliminates the need for information technology assistance, making business management operations smooth and efficient.

    Collaboration Tools

    • The FICO business rules-management system features collaboration tools, allowing users to share projects, designs, and ideas. Collaboration features make it easy to view multiple drafts of a project on one screen and to share the images simultaneously with other servers. Additionally, FICO collaboration tools are data-advanced, providing on-screen notations and draft updates in real time, allowing users on multiple servers to view and work on the same project, at the same time, even if users are not at the same terminal.

    Result Simulations

    • Result-simulation tools allow business managers to test rules adjustments with little to no hassle. According to FICO, the "decision simulator" is a tool for managers to assess how the company and clients may react with updates to previously established rules, or new rules. Simulators process archived rules data through digital test cases. Based on test data, result simulations help managers decide how to move forward with rules adjustments prior to actual implementation.

    Rule Tracking

    • Rule-tracking tools provide a user-friendly option for managers to analyze and assess how implemented rules affect a company in real time. Rule tracking mechanisms allow users to access data on who is providing updates and/or edits and summaries on staffing adjustments. In addition to standard data, tracking tools provide visual diagrams, such as flow charts, showing users how rules affect business sales. These tools are also equipped with locking mechanisms, which forbid unauthorized users from accessing the data and allow authorized users to open up tracking-tool information from virtually any location.
