The Greensboro Children's Museum offers many activities for children. Located at 220 North Church Street, the museum provides many opportunities for children to get imaginative and role play in many different areas. Children can pretend they are a pizza maker, a pilot, a train engineer, or a medical service worker with all the equipment available. They can pretend they are grocery shopping in a store just their size, or helping a person in a real police car or fire truck. For the creative, there is a place to take the stage in Our Town Theater or create an artistic masterpiece at the Creation Station.

For children under 2 years, the Tot Spot provides a special place where little ones can explore safely with age-appropriate toys away from the traffic of bigger kids.

For kids who love water, Wet 'n Wild Emerald Point is the place to go. The park boasts a variety of water slides, from the tame to the Tunnel of Terror or Daredevil Drop. Go for a relaxing ride in a tube on the Lazee River or visit the wading pool, which is like being on the beach. A wave pool also provides fun for kids.

For little ones, Splash Island is a safe environment for younger children to play, with interactive water elements and smaller slides. Only children under 54 inches are allowed to play in this area.
