Children can enjoy the Natural Science Center of Greensboro, located at 4301 Lawndale Drive. The animal exhibit is a favorite of children, where they can see monkeys, turtles, crocodiles, and pet many other animals including goats, sheep, and rabbits. The dinosaur exhibit is a popular destination and the center offers special viewings in its planetarium. For birthdays and special events, the center provides packages where children can explore while celebrating with friends.
Greensboro Children's Museum

The Greensboro Children's Museum offers many activities for children. Located at 220 North Church Street, the museum provides many opportunities for children to get imaginative and role play in many different areas. Children can pretend they are a pizza maker, a pilot, a train engineer, or a medical service worker with all the equipment available. They can pretend they are grocery shopping in a store just their size, or helping a person in a real police car or fire truck. For the creative, there is a place to take the stage in Our Town Theater or create an artistic masterpiece at the Creation Station.
For children under 2 years, the Tot Spot provides a special place where little ones can explore safely with age-appropriate toys away from the traffic of bigger kids.
Guilford Courthouse National Military Park

For families looking for a little bit of history, the Guilford Courthouse National Military Park provides history and room for kids to roam. This location marks the largest battle of the Revolutionary War and kids can find the 28 monuments located on over 200 acres that make history come alive. A bookstore is also available for more information and education.
Celebration Station

Parents will never have to hear the words, "I'm bored" at Celebration Station. Activities include bumper boats, miniature golf, batting cages and go-karts. An indoor arcade features 100 games to keep kids amused and entertained if they ever get tired of the other activities. In addition, a restaurant is also available on the premises of Celebration Station serving up the foods kids like best.
Wet 'n Wild Emerald Point

For kids who love water, Wet 'n Wild Emerald Point is the place to go. The park boasts a variety of water slides, from the tame to the Tunnel of Terror or Daredevil Drop. Go for a relaxing ride in a tube on the Lazee River or visit the wading pool, which is like being on the beach. A wave pool also provides fun for kids.
For little ones, Splash Island is a safe environment for younger children to play, with interactive water elements and smaller slides. Only children under 54 inches are allowed to play in this area.
