DIY Stepper

Exercise steppers are used by people performing aerobics routines, whether alone or in a group. Steppers can be made at home using improvised materials, or specially designed ones can be purchased at stores.
  • Significance

    • Creating a stepper at home out of materials found in the home allows you to work out for free, thus saving you money. A stepper provides convenient indoor exercise on inclement days when you might not want to go outside.

    Benefits

    • A stepper created at home using sturdy materials such as milk crates can be modified to precisely suit your needs and be constructed to the heights you prefer. The height can also be adjusted by adding or removing materials.

    Warning

    • When using a homemade stepper, be sure the materials are placed carefully atop one another so they don't fall over. If the materials used to build the stepper are slippery, it increases the likelihood you could slip or fall over.
