Hotels in Rostov, Russia

  • Hotel Lion

    • The building that is now the Hotel Lion was constructed in 1917 by local merchants and has since been renovated into a guesthouse. While the location is about half a mile from the city center, it is also close to the scenic Lake Nero, which is nearly 10 miles wide. The rooms, which are all on the second floor of the building, are each equipped with a TV, mini-bar and bathroom with shower. The hotel also has its own restaurant, billiard hall and beauty salon. Hotel Lion offers a banquet hall suitable for weddings and other gatherings

    Moskovsky Trakt Hotel

    • The Moskovsky Trakt Hotel is housed in a very distinct cylindrical building, which, although it blends with the historic architecture of the town, was actually built in 2006. Inside, the hotel is much more clearly modern, with leather couches and other minimally designed furniture and lighting. There are more than 50 rooms, most of them offering standard accommodations with the exception of a few larger suites on the top floors. Each room comes with a TV, mini-bar, and bathrobe and slippers. Moskovsky Trakt Hotel is located just down the road from the central train station and is adjacent to an open park with a pond, next to which is the hotel's outdoor cafe.

    Boyarsky Dvor Hotel

    • Boyarsky Dvor Hotel, an official member of the Russian Hotel Association, is located in the center of Rostov. The three-star hotel has three floors with 53 rooms. The rooms range from standard to family-sized and all include a TV and mini-bar. The Boyarsky Dvor Hotel has modeled its architectural style after the famous sprawling Rostov Kremlin, now an official UNESCO World Heritage site, which is located a little more than 100 feet down the road. The Rostov Kremlin houses the Rostov Historical Museum. Inside the hotel, there is also a restaurant and bar, where chefs serve up authentic Russian cuisine for their guests.
