How to Uninstall Your Trend Micro

Trend Micro is a computer program designed and developed for the purpose of minimizing computer virus threats and malware. It was designed for a faster, more efficient browsing, but it did not live up to its expectations. Slower video streaming, downloading and sending emails are some of the more common problems associated when Trend Micro is installed. System scanning also is affected greatly, as it would take hours to scan the entire PC hard drives fully.

  Turn on your computer and wait for the operating system to load.

  Click on the "Start" button, located on the lower left panel of your monitor. Then select "Control Panel." In the Control Panel window, double-click the "Add or Remove Programs" icon.

  Browse through the "Add or Remove Programs" window and look for the Trend Micro Antivirus program. Click it to select and click "Remove." A window will appear asking if you are really sure you wish to uninstall the program. Select "Uninstall" and follow the instruction to restart the computer.
