How Can You Play a Region 2 DVD on Your Computer?
The world of DVD technology is broken up into seven regions that span the real world. Regions 1 through 6 correspond to specific areas of the world and Region 0 DVDs can be played in any region on any player. Region 2 corresponds to most of Europe and won't play on your computer unless you change your DVD drive's regional settings. Although this may sound complicated, you can actually do this manually via Windows Explorer.
