How Do You Recharge the Battery in a Jazz HDV-178?

A Jazz HDV-178 camcorder is powered by a rechargeable lithium-ion battery pack. The battery pack should be charged as needed to maintain enough battery power to run the camcorder. If the camcorder is not in use, the battery pack should be stored outside of the camcorder and reinserted into the camcorder to be recharged every three months. This helps prolong the life cycle of the battery pack. Jazz recommends only recharging the battery using the recharging cord that comes with the Jazz HDV-178 camcorder or compatible replacement cords sold by Jazz.
