How Set Tune LG Phones Via Computer

Almost all cell phone manufacturers offer software applications for their cell phones to manage data between a personal computer and the phone. Nokia PC Suite, Samsung PC Studio, Sony Ericsson and ActiveSync are some of these applications. For LG Phones, too, there is a desktop managing application, known as LG PC Suite. Using this application, you can synchronize data, transfer files, install applications and manage the phone's contents on your computer screen. It also allows you to edit, remove, add and set ring tones on your phone.

  Download and install LG PC Suite on your computer. You'll find a direct link in the Resources section below.

  Go to "Start" > "Programs" and launch LG PC Suite. You can also launch it by double-clicking the shortcut icon on the desktop.

  Connect your LG phone to the computer using USB data cable that came with the phone when you bought it.

  Wait for PC Suite application to automatically recognize the connected device.

  Select the option "Manage Files" on the application window.

  Go to the "Ring Tones" menu.

  Select from the list the tone that you want to add to your phone, and select the option "Set as Ring tone."

  Disconnect the USB connection appropriately and enjoy the new ring tone on your phone.
