How to Buy Worldmark Timeshares

Worldmark by Wyndham is a points-based timeshare that offers dozens of properties across the United States, Canada, Mexico and beyond. There are three ways to buy Worldmark timeshares: directly from Worldmark, through a third-party timeshare seller or from a private owner.
  • Buy from Worldmark

    • Purchasing timeshares directly from the Worldmark sales staff usually means you will pay the highest dollar amount per share. However, you will also have the benefit of exclusive perks such as bonus vacation rewards and owner support from the very beginning. Use the official Worldmark website to contact a sales representative near you.

Buy From a Third Party Timeshare Seller

    • A number of timeshare resale companies exist, and many of them have Worldmark shares in their stock. An Internet search for "Worldmark resales" will pull up a number of these resellers. The advantage to buying from a reseller is that you will pay less per share than purchasing directly from Worldmark and will still have the assurance of a secure transaction, as long as you purchase from an insured and reputable reseller. A drawback might include less owner support.

    Buy From a Private Owner

    • Current Worldmark owners sometimes need to sell their Worldmark shares and do so by advertising on Internet boards such as Craigslist, eBay, dedicated timeshare listing boards or in local newspapers. The benefits to purchasing from a private owner are usually the best possible price and no commission fees. Drawbacks might include no new owner support and insecure transactions. Be sure all paperwork is properly filled out, signed and approved by Worldmark before transferring any funds.
