  If someone believes he may be the father of a child, he can file for genetic testing within 60 days from the date the affidavit was originally signed. He must file at the local health department. Similarly, if someone believes he may not be the father and he has already signed the affidavit, he has 60 days from the date the affidavit was signed to file with his local health department and complete genetic testing.
