How to Change the Start Up on ROKR E8

The ROKR E8 is a cellphone manufactured by Motorola, an electronics company based in Illinois. The only change you can make to the start-up process of the ROKR E8 is adding a password. This is useful for protecting your phone and its data, should it be lost or stolen. You will need to enter a numeric code each time you switch on your cellphone before you can make calls or send messages.

  Press the button in the center of the arrow keys. The main menu will open.

  Use the arrow keys to scroll to "Settings." Press the center button down.

  Scroll to "Change Passwords" and select.

  Choose to switch on your "Unlock Code." By default it is set to "1234." Change it to something memorable and write it down. Store your code safely in case you forget. Your code is automatically saved.

  Exit the menu by pressing the "Clear/Back" key. Next time you switch on your ROKR E8 the start up will be changed to ask for a password.
