- 5
Rinse the brick veneer thoroughly with the garden hose, starting at the top and working your way down. No cleaning solution should remain on the bricks. Allow the brick veneer to air dry.

How to Clean Brick Veneer
Brick veneer is made from thin bricks installed over a metal or wood frame, with an air space between. Brick veneer can be used for interior and exterior applications, with or without insulation. This type of brick is ideal for areas that receive heavy rain, because of the drainage space. Brick veneer typically costs less to construct than solid masonry. Over time, however, brick veneer can accumulate and absorb dirt and water, losing its appeal. Restore your brick veneer's color and appearance with a thorough cleaning.
